Coming to Inria Rennes …
The Rennes Saint-Jacques airport has connections to 22 French and European cities on a daily basis. Once in the airport, taxis and buses may allow you to reach the lab.
To reach Inria lab by bus from the airport
Bus no. 57 connects St-Jacques to the centre of Rennes during the day (from 6:15 am to 8:30 pm). The “Pommerais” or “Abbé Grimault” stops are around 400 metres from the airport in the village of St-Jacques: buses depart every 10 to 15 minutes, trip time: a little less than 20 min.
Change at “République” for bus no. 6, 4, or 40ex.
Get out at the “Tournebride” stop.
To reach Inria lab by taxi from the airport
Taking a taxi from the airport to the lab costs around €20 during the day.
Rennes is connected by TGV (high-speed train) to Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nancy and Strasbourg.
20 Paris-Rennes TGV (min. trip time: 2hrs03mins, departures every half hour during peak periods, and every hour at other times), 3 TGV Roissy CdG airport-Rennes (2hrs58mins), 3 TGV Lille-Rennes (3hrs45mins), 2 TGV Lyon-Rennes (4hrs25mins)
From Rennes City center (Republique station) by bus:
Number 6: buses depart every 10 to 20 minutes depending on the periods, trip time: approx. 10 min.
Number 4: buses depart every 7 to 10 minutes, trip time: approx. 10 min.
Number 40ex (“express”): buses depart every 6 to 12 minutes, peak hours only, trip time: approx. 7 min.
Number 41ex connects the train station directly to the Beaulieu campus during the week, with schedules matching the regional train arrivals (trip time: approx. 12 min).
Number 30 connects the Villejean campus with the Beaulieu campus (“Restaurant universitaire” stop).
By car, take the main road alongside the river, in the direction of “Cesson-Sévigné / Laval”. Go ahead on the “Plaine de Baud”, The campus is on the left after a few kilometers.

From outside of Rennes:
From Paris, by expressway, take the exit signed for “Rennes-Centre”, then follow the signs for “Campus de Beaulieu”. The university campus is on the right as you approach the city.
Once in the campus:
When you have finally reached Beaulieu, the real challenge to find the lab starts, but this should help a little.
