Yesterday, I attended to a EIT ICT Labs event around the connexion between PhDs students and the entrepreneurial world. Relaxed discussions with François Morin from Tocea (www.tocea.com) a 18 months old company built from the reunion of one academic (Sylvain Leroy) and a pure manager (François Morin) who decided to come along and have fun together in business.
It was the third Coffee TIC meeting held in this context and it was really enriching. We didn’t talk too much about technology but really about becoming an entrepreneur, about the right people to contact, fundings, projects, customers, time spent, who you are, who you need to get into business with etc.
Really exciting! It just comes in addition of a talk from a former Triskell member (Freddy Munoz) who decided to run in such adventure and who performed an incredible talk during the “12th year, most influencial” Triskell seminar held prior in october.
