No robot wrote this article! But it won’t last forever …

A really uncommon blog article in French in a generalist Journal about something that is no more science fiction. Smart robots / softwares / entities … from an email-interview of Prof. Francesco Iacobelli

Everybody a bit interested in technology / science fiction have read / watch / dream about the “wonderful” future cyberworld, far over from Orwell’s 1984 perspective. Welcome to the Matrix, to Avalon, Ghost In the Shell, Star Wars, Tron, Macross saga, Starcraft, In Warhammer 40k’s world, Asimov’s “I, Robot”, his laws, and all other movies, series, books, novels from guys that have thought the future and that inspire the current path to this future. They made and still make us love technology with their good and bad faces.

World is so close to this turning point of humanity. Whatever you may think about good or bad points, from well-being progress to ethical questions to something close to : “sky is no more the limit”.

To your opinion, who or what does best describe this close future while reading / watching / hearing / surfing / dreaming /…

I will let you have a glance of mine … “The net is vast and infinite”. “You talk about redefining my identity. I want a guarantee that I can still be myself. There isn’t one. Why would you wish to? All things change in a dynamic environment. Your effort to remain what you are is what limits you”.

About Ptitnic
